Director changes must be submitted to CIPC and can be submitted directly via InfoDocs. Appointing a new director or dismissing an existing director requires submitting a change or amendment of director (COR39) to the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and preparing relevant supporting documents. New directors may be elected by the Board of Directors when there is a vacancy or the company wishes to add directors. Vacancies on the board arise if a director: resigns or dies. Changing the address of a company is possible at any time and when necessary. The change can be voluntary or by demand. The demand arises in the event that there is a requirement for an expert on the board or due to the resignation or death of an existing director.
